Denia Info
Denia is a beautiful Mediterranean fisher town. It is situated less than 100 km from Valencia to the North and Alicante to the South. The town lies below the towering 800 meter Montgo mountain. The town is built around the old, dominating castle on the hill which now hosts an archaeological museum with fantastic views.

El Montgo is shaped like an elephant with Denia on one side and the town of Javea on the other side. It is considered a natural reserve so this has stopped further development of villas getting too close to it.
Denia offers 20 km of white, sandy beaches. Les Rotes on one side, with rocky coves great for diving, a natural sea reserve. On the other side the sandy Las Marinas beach which is safe for children.

Denia has a reputation of being among the world’s healthiest places which has been officially recognized by the World Health Organization with annual temperature of 19ºC, reaching about 30ºC during the summer time and an average of 300 days of sunshine each year.
