Denia Entertainment
Are you seeking entertainment? Then Denia has plenty on offer for you...
The old castle in Denia plays host to an archaeological museum. Other notable buildings in Denia include the church of Santa Maria, which was built in 1734 as well as the Church of the Assumption built in the eighteenth century which is worth a visit too.
Denia offers two large beaches which have been awarded the blue Europa flag. Les Rotes is made of rocky coves which are great for diving, based south of the town. La Marineta based to the north is a long 20km stretch of sandy beach which is safe for the children. There are three smaller beaches of Les Bovetes, Les Deveses and L’Almadrava.

All round sport-facilities are available, i.e. sailing, tennis, golf, horse riding, hiking, fishing, surfing, diving and much more…
Behind Denia lies the impressive Montgo park and the Cape of San Antonio lies to the east.
Denia has regular services to Valencia or day-trips to Ibiza via ferry or catamaran ferry. The day-trips to Ibiza takes about two hours with the catamaran or about four by the ferry. If you don’t fancy going to Ibiza then take the boat trips along the coast lines and visit the nearby town of Javea on the other side of the Montgo mountain.
